The passing of Mr Bang crash wallop

The passing of composer Karlheinz Stockhausen has highlighted the remarkable ground-breaking work of this man.

At school we used to laugh at his music and refer to him as "Mr Bang, crash, wallop".

But I think that is a mark of his success. If schoolboys laugh at your work, it does actually suggest that you are doing something worthwhile.
